We require 48 HOUR advance notice for most on-line orders (unless stated otherwise). BUT IF NEXT DAY IS NEEDED – You have 2 options: You may call the bakery at 202-450-4462 to place your order with our staff during business hours (but please note that a $10 booking admin fee may be incurred with orders taken by phone) or complete the on-line delivery/pickup form and select the date override rush option below the calendar. Please not that ONLY some designated desserts are eligible for this next day option, and the on-line order must submitted by 5pm the day before. Please note that there will be a rush order surcharge of $15 for next day pickup orders and $30 for next day delivery orders either over the phone or on-line.

Lemon cake with lavender flakes in the batter and frosted with a lemon zest buttercream icing.

Cake Border Decorations*
Add a special border decoration in the same buttercream frosting as the cake either on the top perimeter, bottom perimeter or both. Shell or dot borders offered. Note: The shell border is the classic buttercream frosting border.

Add a print or drawing on your cake
For a print or drawing, you will be required to upload a high resolution file (up to 5MB). PRINTS can be of anything, no limits here. However, DRAWINGS are done in buttercream frosting and therefore can only be a single basic clipart graphic, single logo, single cartoon character, etc. with minimal detail and no more than 4 colors. Drawings are not for textured photos or real life images. DO NOT UPLOAD IMAGE OF A CAKE YOU WANT US TO REPLICATE. Only provide us a single image that you want drawn or printed on the top of your cake.

Please upload a high resolution file to be used for best print quality (up to 5MB). PRINTS can be of anything. DRAWINGS are done in buttercream frosting and therefore can only be a single basic clipart graphic, a single logo, a single cartoon character with minimal detail and no more than 4 colors. Drawings are not for textured photos or real life images. DO NOT UPLOAD IMAGE OF A CAKE YOU WANT US TO REPLICATE. Only provide us a single image that you want drawn on your cake whereas you can have multiple characters for an image that needs to be printed.

Add an Ombre color effect
Ombre is a color graduation or blending of one color hue to another of the frosting on the side of the cake. If you select the ombre effect, then you can't also add the stripe, polka dot or border options on your cake.
