We require 48 HOUR advance notice for most on-line orders (unless stated otherwise). BUT IF NEXT DAY IS NEEDED – You have 2 options: You may call the bakery at 202-450-4462 to place your order with our staff during business hours (but please note that a $10 booking admin fee may be incurred with orders taken by phone if they are complicated or custom design orders) or complete the on-line delivery/pickup form and select the date override rush option below the calendar. Please note that ONLY some designated desserts are eligible for this next day option, and the on-line order must submitted by 5pm the day before. Please note that there will be a rush order surcharge of $15 for next day pickup orders and $30 for next day delivery orders either over the phone or on-line.

Red Velvet Cake

A classic red-hued cake with a hint of delicate chocolate flavor, finished with your choice of rich vanilla buttercream or traditional cream cheese frosting.

*ONLY THE 9″ CAKE OPTION IS ELIGIBLE FOR NEXT DAY ON-LINE ORDERING. NEXT DAY RUSH FEE APPLIES.

Select your Frosting option*
Select either vanilla buttercream frosting, cream cheese frosting or Ombre is vanilla buttercream with a color graduation or blending of one color hue to another of the frosting on the side of the cake. If you select the ombre effect, then you can't also add the stripe or polka dot options on the side of the cake. You must select white vanilla buttercream frosting to be able to select the Ombré effect.

Cream Cheese Frosting Options for the sides*
How would you like the sides of your cake frosted? Semi-Naked means the sides are lightly frosted but the top is fully frosted, and Naked means just the top is fully frosted and the sides are bare. Fully frosted means that the sides are fully covered.

Rainbow Sprinkles covering the sides?
Please note that if you choose to have RAINBOW sprinkles covering the sides of your cake, then it will not be possible to also add the Ombre effect, polka dots or stripes to the sides.

Add a print or drawing on your cake*
For a print or drawing, you will be required to upload a high resolution file (up to 5MB). PRINTS can be of anything, no limits here. However, DRAWINGS are done in buttercream frosting and therefore can only be a single basic clipart graphic, single logo, single cartoon character, etc. with minimal detail and no more than 4 colors. Drawings are not for textured photos or real life images. DO NOT UPLOAD IMAGE OF A CAKE YOU WANT US TO REPLICATE. Only provide us a single image that you want drawn or printed on the top of your cake.

Ombre is a color graduation. The RAINBOW option features six distinct rainbow colors rather than a blended ombre effect.
